Having previously taught at the Childs school where she was trained and her own extremely successful school in Buckinghamshire, she has relocated to Brighton in recent years and now offers one to one tuition privately from her home in the Hanover area. Poppy specialises in teaching and inspiring children from as young as four years old to a high standard, but in a fun and easy way to understand using the Lisa Childs Piano books. Colours and stickers are used for younger children who cannot yet read, (athough this is just a teaching aid and not a colour 'method'). Lessons are also available for those who have 'tried and given up years ago' and who possess a 'willingness to learn'. Lessons include theory and practical exams to A.B.R.S.M standards and time permitting, the very popular 'Music Appreciation' workshops. |
